Loved your post, I had almost forgotten how difficult it was to keep track of news or teams even 10 years ago. Now there's the possibility of watching most games online - or at least getting an updating score as the action happens. However much I love travelling I can't rest on a Saturday afternoon until I learn the English football results. I haven't yet managed to get a radio connection, but certainly rely on the BBC sites to keep me updated (and have been known to use up some of those expensive Kb on my phone to get the scores.
